Harwich Port, MA (42 N° 40', 70 W° 4') - Today was a very successful day. Kitenaked.com just hooked us up with two demo kites! They loaned us a 12 meter Wainman and a 7 meter Wainman.  We are looking forward to getting some sick pics/videos of these kites in action while in paradise as well as letting other kiters demo the gear so if you are in the Caribbean come find us! 

We also finished the final prep for the trip: fishing reels are cleaned and ready to go, charts are organized, GP...

San Francisco, CA (37° 37' N, 122° 23'W) - After two very busy days inspecting, sea trialing, and negotiating, I closed on the purchase and am the proud owner of Polaris. She sailed well in 10-12 knots of breeze, and the engine, rigging, and sails are in excellent condition. As with any used boat purchase, there is plenty of work to be done to restore her back to glory.
