To date we have explored Puerto Rico, the spanish Virgin Islands (Culebra and Vieques), and St. Thomas. We circumnavigated St. Thomas and checked out Red Hook, Charlotte Amalie, Magens Bay, and Hull Bay. Magens Bay is an incredibly well protected harbor/bay on the North Side of St. Thomas and proved to be a difficult entrance as we had less than 3 feet under the keel for most of the entrance. Finally the first post from the Caribbean... We spent the last two weeks
in a cycle. Step 1: Rip apart the boat, Step 2: complete a project,
Step 3: reorganize the boat, Step 4: Repeat. We worked around the
clock to finish the following projects: remove unused wires and hoses
and non functioning appliances (tv and microwave were from the paleozoic
era), rewire entire boat, secure propane fuel lines, replace fire
extinguishers, replace 9 seacocks, clean out and organize stearage
